Our approach has always been simple and uncompromising: outstanding produce, strong ethics and passionate people. We focus on doing fewer things better — sourcing well, cooking properly and delivering a consistently great experience.
This is steak done the Cow & Sow way.
We source our beef from South West farms, working closely with our friends at Ruby & White. Grass-fed, rare-breed cattle — including Ruby Red Devon, British White and Longhorn — chosen for flavour, marbling and provenance.
Every cut is selected with care, handled properly and cooked to let the meat shine.
We let the beef do the talking. Each steak is lightly seasoned, cooked over an extremely hot chargrill, brushed with herb-infused butter and rested properly — at least eight minutes — for tenderness and depth of flavour.
No shortcuts. Just care, timing and experience.
Our onion blossom with black garlic mayo has become a Cow & Sow favourite. A whole onion, cut into twelve segments, soaked in infused milk, coated in gluten-free flour and fried until crisp.
Bold, indulgent and very hard to share.
Embedding purpose into everything we do, our B Corp status reinforces people’s desire to know we’re truly doing good with our food. Harnessing the truth behind the way we govern our business is something we’re very proud of. Through the rigorous verification process by B Lab, we believe Cow & Sow is a stronger, healthier business and a force for good in the world. We intend to feed by example, strive to be the best we can be, and keep pushing boundaries.
As a company we pledge to put purpose before profit, but B Corp demands that you continue to do so, and continually strive to do better. So the journey has only just begun…
People first. Planet-positive. Quality over quantity.
That’s what underpins Cow & Sow — in how we cook, how we treat our teams and how we work with our partners.
If you’d like to collaborate with us, we’d love to hear from you.
